Richlite is a sustainable and versatile material manufactured from a resin-infused paper. Originally created more than 70 years ago for pattern making and industrial tooling applications, Richlite steadily expanded into a surface material utilized in the marine, culinary, design, machining, automative and aerospace industries.
Handmade from layers of craft paper, Richlite offers a surface texture that derives from the natural variations in the way the fibers lay in the paper. Composed of about 65 percent FSC-certified or recycled paper content with 35 percent phenolic resin, the color of Richlite materials comes from a blend of the paper and the resin’s amber tones.
